Green Deal Consortia and Easy Green Deal have today announced a partnership agreement which sees the delivery of a special package of Green Deal training and accreditation provision available exclusively to members of the Consortia.
The agreement will open doors nationally to the smaller traders and installers to an affordable means of getting the necessary standards such as PAS 2030. Pre-accredited courses will also be available to allow Consortia members to undertake ECO work and move on to being PAS 2030 accredited in order to be able to access Green Deal funded work.
Phyllis Prior-Boardman, executive director of Green Deal Consortia said: “We are delighted to have forged such a strong relationship with Easy Green Deal. This will provide our members with 12 months of support to help them get accredited and ensure ongoing compliance. Working together, the Consortia and Easy Green Deal will give installers across the UK robust support that will give them everything they need training wise to be successful under Green Deal.”
Thomas Farquhar, sales manager at Easy Green Deal said: “At Easy Green Deal we offer unrivalled levels of Green Deal mentoring and Green Deal support which we provide to each prospective Green Deal Installer and Green Deal Advisory Service and their journey into the Green Deal sector to get them PAS 2030 accredited. Our aim is to act as the Consortia’s support arm and ensure that its members are compliant, meet the standards set by the Green Deal and can adapt to any regulation changes in the future.
