A number of changes have been made to some of the Green Deal standards it has been announced. The changes are due to come into force shortly before January 28th and affect Green Deal Installers, Green Deal Advisors, Green Deal Providers and Green Deal Certification Bodies.

Changes to Green Deal standards include;

  • Revisions to the Green Deal Code of Practice

  • Revisions to the Green Deal Framework Regulations

  • Consumer Credit Act

Changes to the Green Deal Code of Practice include; Non Domestic Property Changes, Alignment between the Microgeneration Certification Scheme and PAS 2030, Green Deal Accreditation requirements for Gas Safe Installers, changes to guarantees, ancillary works, notification of EPC's and a range of other additions.

Changes to the Green Deal Framework Regulatios include; EPC changes, Reporting Requirements, Complaints etc.

Specific regulations have also been set out in the Consumer Credit Act for Green Deal early repayments.
